The massive upturn in use of ‘weight loss’ drugs such as Ozempic might not be the only growth people are seeing when using the GLP-1 injections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It seems as if some of the lads who have been using the medication, which is primarily used to treat Type-2 diabetes, have reported some improvements in their ding-a-lings, in a new side effect that some people are dubbing ‘Ozempic penis’.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There have been plenty of people reporting some side effects that sound absolutely awful, including Jeremy Clarkson<\/a>, who had to switch to Mounjaro<\/a> after suffering from nausea and sickness<\/a> when taking Ozempic<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why would you use Ozempic?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Although pharmaceutical company Novo Nordisk and most medical professionals have constantly reinforced the message that the drug should only be used when prescribed by a doctor to treat diabetes, celebrity<\/a> use has encouraged others across the world to try it out for weight loss purposes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It works by limiting your appetite and lowering your blood sugar, meaning you feel fuller despite eating less food, which can lead to rapid weight loss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Influencers are also advertising<\/a> the medications on social media<\/a>, often illegally, and thanks to online pharmacies, it seems easier than ever to get hold of some.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is Ozempic penis?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Well, some blokes who have been using the drug are reporting some growth downstairs, with plenty of people on Reddit noticing the ‘issue’.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the comments, multiple site users confirmed they\u2019d also seen positive change, which is certainly more than can be said to the less fortunate females<\/a> who are using the jab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But before you go rushing to buy some, in the hope that you can gain rather than lose as most people use the jabs for, a urologist has seemingly debunked the theory about maximising your manhood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is really happening?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Rather than it actually adding centimetres to your member, it seems as if the fat around the penis is actually just reducing, which gives off the illusion of things being a bit bigger – which is certainly better than nothing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking to HuffPost UK, urologist Dr Martina Ambardjieva explained: \u201cAs a urologist, I can say there\u2019s no evidence that semaglutide (Ozempic) or other GLP-1 agonists cause actual penile tissue growth,\u201d she shared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHowever, there is a plausible physiological explanation for why some men perceive their penis to be larger after significant weight loss.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhen a man loses weight, particularly rapidly as with GLP-1 drugs, this fat pad shrinks, revealing more of the shaft and making the penis appear longer,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt\u2019s not growth, it\u2019s exposure.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
